Class Schedule for May 2010
Class
policies:
· Payment is required at time of registration. As a courtesy to the teachers, please register at least 3 days prior to class.
· Classes with only one enrollee 3 days prior to the class, may be cancelled with a full refund or class time shortened due to the one on one teaching. This decision is up to the individual teacher.
· If you withdraw prior to 7 days before a class, the fee will be refunded with a Gift Card only. If cancellation is made after that time, the fee will be forfeited.
· No shows forfeit the class fee.
· Private lessons are available for $20.00 per hour, with an additional $10.00 for each additional person. If you and a few friends want to set up a separate class, please let us know and we will see if a teacher is available at a convenient time for you.
· Please purchase all supplies prior to class and arrive on time. Classes will start promptly.
· Please check for any pre class preparation.
Beginning Knitting
In this class you will learn how to cast on, to knit and purl, increase, decrease, how to work in the round and how to bind off. You will be ready to start your first project. Materials needed: Worsted weight yarn and size 7 or 8 single point needles are needed.

2 Michele Fridays May 14th and 21st 6-8 p.m. $35.00
Beginning Crochet
In this class
you will learn the basic stitches to help you get started on your first
project. You will learn how to read those patterns that look like a foreign
language. Materials needed: Size H or I crochet hook and a worsted
weight yarn.

Beginning Wheel Spinning
If you’ve always wanted to try spinning on a wheel, this
is the class for you. Learn the basics
of wheel spinning-treadling, drafting, and plying. If you don’t have a wheel of your own, the shop will provide one
for you. The wheels will be available
for rental afterwards. There is a $5.00
materials fee, payable to the teacher at the beginning of the class. Maximum of four students.

Free Refresher class…Knitting or Crochet
Have you taken a beginning knitting or Crochet class from Michele within the last 2 years? Have you put your knitting or crocheting aside, only to try and pick it up again, but are having difficulty remembering how to get started or recalling techniques you learned? Pick up your needles or hook and yarn and come get reacquainted with these great crafts.
